Draft Terms of Use for The Christmas Treaty. Final language should be reviewed by the owner's legal adviser before launch, and will reflect the email and analytics tools in use.
We collect only what the service needs: the names and email addresses entered to create a Treaty, the donation amount and charity choices, and basic usage events to understand the journey. Email addresses are used solely to send the one Treaty invitation and, optionally, to notify the proposer when a Treaty is accepted.
No accounts are created and no payment information is ever collected or processed — donations are made directly on each charity's own website. Each Treaty is reachable only through a private, unguessable link. We do not sell or share personal information.
